Q: What is Exercise Therapy?

Agevix: Exercise Therapy has been familiar in the past as a Specialized Exercise Program. Exercise Therapy is a specifically designed regimine that is based upon a specific condition or injury of the client. Exercise Therapy often is prescribed post-prescriptive medical care to provide the substantial benefits of a supervised physical fitness program. Exercise Therapy may also include Massage Therapy, a service also provided by Agevix.

Q: What are benefits of services provided by Agevix Professional Network?

Agevix: Under the management and direction of founders Todd Nienhouse, CBIS, CPT and Wendy Nienhouse, BDM, Agevix services will:

  • Enhance specific rehabilitation programs
  • Target specific deficits for improvement
  • Build client self-confidence & self-esteem
  • Promote client community
  • Provide on-going preventative care

Q: Where are you located?

Agevix: We operate in qualified, full service health clubs and training studios located throughout Northern Lower Michigan and Mid Michigan. When appropriate, Agevix professionals also make house calls to homes of clients.

Q: Who is part of the Agevix Professional Network?

Agevix: Agevix professionals are insured and certified in their fields of expertise, including but not limited to holding the following certifications: Certified Brain Injury Specialist, Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Massage Therapist, Registered Craniosacral Therapist, Certified Nutrition Counselor.

Q: How do I know if Agevix can help my client, patient or family member?

Agevix: Agevix professionals often provide services to the injured after they have completed physical therapy or during their period of physical therapy. However, Agevix Professional Network has also had success with injury survivors years after their injury occurred. Q: What if Agevix doesn't currently serve my area?

Agevix: If there is need in an areat that is not currently supported, Agevix Professional Network will consider how to best implement the opportunity for clients of that unsupported region to receive Agevix services. All emails are read and responded to within 48 hours between Monday and Friday. Simply share your interest and Michigan region in an email to info@agevix.com.

Q: Who evaluates my client or family member for Agevix services?

Agevix: All prospective clients of the Agevix Professional Network are currently evaluated by Agevix founder Todd Nienhouse, CBIS, CPT.

Q: How does communication travel to other health care providers, case workers and guardians regarding my client, patient or family member?

Agevix: At onset of Agevix services to be provided, evaluation and session notes are earmarked to be shared as discussed in the initial meeting regarding the client. A system of communication is established at that time and adhered to by Agevix Professional Network.
